Hello there!
To those who joined us on Thursday for the first time this session, a very warm welcome to you!
As mentioned in class on Thursday, the class blog now has a calendar embedded at the very top of the website. On each class meeting, you'll find the topic to be covered and hopefully in the near future, I will also provide links and handouts to download.
On another note, I've been thinking of squeezing in a field trip in the semester before the winter season unleashes its fury at us in the form of snow, bitter temperatures, and strong winds. To the right of this post is a poll where you can vote on the type of field trip that you'd like to embark on. Alternatively, you can suggest a destination by commenting on this post. I will also be making an announcement in class on Tuesday.
Until then, I leave you with this cartoon. Have a safe and happy Halloween!

Welcome!
Welcome to the website for GEA's Advanced Grammar/Oral Skills class. On this website, you'll find links to documents, handouts, and information related to the class and any lessons we do.
Today we talked about a very disturbing story where a daughter was imprisoned in her own home by her parents. Here is another story featured recently that took place in Indiana. I would like you to:
1. Watch the video (as many times as you need to).
2. Answer the question in the poll to the left of this post.
3. Explain your answer by commenting on this post below.
Enjoy!
